Infinitive and gerund

This week we have been learning when to use verbs in infinitive or in ing-form (sections 5A & 5B).
On Wednesday, we learnt some vocabulary to talk about our city, we did a listening comprehension exercise, a writing exercise, we watched the video about Mark and Allie and I gave you a very useful handout for the oral test (if you didn't come to class, ask me for the handout next Monday).

Homework, due to Monday 26th April.

- Read the article on page 57 and do exercises a. and b. from READING & LISTENING.

Unit 5


Last week, we revised how to use comparatives and superlatives in English. On Monday 12th, we started unit 5. Tomorrow, we'll finish section 5A and we'll start 5B (about -ing). We'll also continue practising English sounds.

Homework due to 19th April:
- Write 10 (minimum) pieces of advice or tips about what to do and what not to do on a first romantic date. Use as much imagination as possible!!!
